If problems or FailRP arise, play it out and report it later.
Do not break the “New Life” Rule.
If you respawn, by your own choice, you will lose all memory leading up to your death. This includes who killed you, why, and where your character was killed.
It's up to police or EMS to judge whether you're revivable. If they deem you're not able to be patched up with a first aid kit, you'll be brought to the morgue – you lose all memory leading up to the event.
You cannot use your friends/other players to be reminded of what has happened to you in order to seek revenge.
If EMS or police apply first aid, follow their guideline when it comes to memory loss. If they say nothing, you should still play it out with memory loss.
No FailRP.
When you do something that is not probable. Examples (but NOT limited to):
Your character only knows what your character has directly seen or heard.
You cannot use anything from OOC.
In the case that your character has died, you cannot use what you see or hear, while dead… because… you're dead...
Driving a vehicle off a cliff/bridge, free falling, and then instantly driving on.
If you get downed/bleeding out by gunfire, you cannot speak, no voice is to be used at all.
No Random Deathmatch.
Don't kill people without any valid RP story leading up to this.
No Metagaming.
Don't use knowledge gained from outside the game. Examples (but NOT limited to):
You may only use information that was given to you in-game by another player during RP. An example could be drug locations. Your friend may have told you IRL, but you may only use this information if they actually tell you in-game.
No Powergaming.
Powergaming is the act of role-playing abilities that do not exist. Examples (but NOT limited to):
Doing /me holds down person and kills slowly.
Doing /me plants sticky bomb under XYZ's vehicle.
Claiming you have a hostage when in fact you do not.
No Suicide RP.
Do not pretend to be suicidal, such as messaging emergencies or using Twitter or messages to friends that you want to end your own life.
No Vehicle Deathmatch.
Don't hit people with your car on purpose.
Fear for life RP.
If someone pulls a gun on you – you do not pull a gun on them (unless a good, strong RP relationship indicates a proper reason that you would. "I'm the city tough guy" is not a reason!). Put your hands up!
Do not combat log to avoid death, arrest, or confrontation, including logging off when dead to avoid confrontation with EMS or Police.
Crimes & Police
Do not bait cops – be realistic.
No fake dispatch calls!
Don't pull your weapon out for the sole purpose of being chased by the police.
Don't call police to a staged scene or try to get them out of the way because other illegal activity is planned elsewhere – this is also cop baiting.
Don't do anything illegal, directly, and purposely in front of an officer to provoke a reaction.
Do not make your whole RP revolve around crimes and police.
If repeatedly arrested for the same or similar crime within a short time, expect jail time to be severely increased.
Lay low if you've had a lot of heat on you.
Do not use your phone in prison or when handcuffed.
It's the police's job to confiscate it, but even if they forget – the “prison guards” take it.
Do not enter the military base (or steal any military-grade vehicles).
Use SHOUT at all times in crime scenarios with/against others. The range on Normal is not that far – make sure people can hear you!
Do not use Twitter for illegal activities.
If a mask is used in a crime, you cannot identify the person.
Use a voice changer (software) or change your voice, to not be identified by voice.
Dress appropriate to your character. Ask yourself, “Would I wear this in real life?” Dress like a local.
Do not wear weapon holsters unless you are a police officer.
Robberies
Do not use third-person viewing during a robbery.
If you see someone you wouldn't have seen in 1st person, RP as if you didn’t see them.
Do not hold a hostage for more than 30 minutes.
Maximum 3 people to rob a convenience store, and a maximum of 4 people at a heist (Jewelry).
This is excluding a hostage.
As a third party, if you're not the robbers or PD, do not interfere with the scenario being played out.
You cannot use a hostage to powergame (e.g., a fake hostage to put yourself in a better position).
If you take a person hostage, the person must be a legitimate hostage. They should not willingly be there or be paid for helping out.
Community
Do NOT harass other players – in-game, on Discord, or on the Twitter app.
Do not shitpost or use vulgar vocabulary on Twitter (imagine your mother is watching).
Do NOT use racist, sexist, or otherwise degrading language.
The self-help section is as important as the rules. Read it, please!
If your character originates from another country, you may speak that language with others.
If others are around, switch to English to avoid excluding people.
Whitelisted job Handbooks are not to be shared with anyone.
Server & Client
No script exploiting – report bugs or exploits immediately.
Twitter avatar – ONLY in-game pictures, preferably of your character, are allowed. Doing otherwise is a bannable offense.
Do not use offensive Twitter names.
A working mic is required.
Streaming
It is advised to stream as “body cams” can be used as evidence in admin cases.
It is not against the server rules to stream drug locations, but it is a bad idea.
Do not “stream snipe” – seeking out a person after seeing them on stream.
